Man pleads guilty to charge in fatal Norfolk shooting


NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man has pleaded guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charged in connection to the fatal shooting of teenager.

A spokesperson for the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office said the length of Joseph Gary Burke, Jr.’s sentence will be determined during a hearing Jan. 2, 2019.

Burke was arrested in February after 19-year-old Keshawn Alexander was shot and killed in Campostella section of the city.
