NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) —  A vehicle caught fire Saturday afternoon on the interstate in Norfolk.

Officials say the fire happened around 3:40 on Saturday in the eastbound lanes of I-264, near Ballentine Boulevard.

The fire did not cause a major backup and was quickly put out.

No injuries were reported.
