NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Two women were injured in a shooting in Norfolk Wednesday night.

Police said the call reporting the shooting came in at 6:41 p.m. in the 7100 block of Sewells Point Road.

In an update Thursday morning, police said the women were taken to the hospital and their wounds were not life-threatening.

There’s no suspect information at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
