PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Firefighters say no injuries were reported after a vacant house caught fire Friday morning in Portsmouth.

Fire crews responded around 7:08 a.m. to the 1600 block of Summit Avenue and found smoke and flames coming from the single-story house.

About 30 fire personnel responded in total and the fire was marked under control at 7:28 a.m.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
