HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – The Hampton City School Board honored WAVY’s own Katie Collett with an award Wednesday night.
The award, the Virginia School Board Association Media Honor Roll, goes to a journalist who board members feel goes above and beyond to share fair and balanced stories about public schools and students in our community.
The school board meeting was held at Jones Magnet Middle School.
