Hampton courthouses closed after Friday morning bomb threat


HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Police and the Hampton Fire Department are investigating a bomb threat called in to Hampton General District Court Friday morning.

As a result of the threat, all three city courthouses are currently closed. Surrounding streets are also closed. This is a precautionary measure, police said.

The bomb threat call was received at 8:35 a.m.
