HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Officials say two people died following a house fire in Hampton Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday on Enscore Court, in the western part of the city near Newmarket Creek.

When crews got to the scene, they reported seeing the home fully involved.

A battalion chief with Hampton Fire Dept. confirmed with 10 On Your Side that two people, a man and a woman, were found dead inside the home. Their bodies were taken to the Medical Examiner for identification.

There has been no cause released, but officials say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
