VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A downed tree caused Virginia Beach residents to be without power early Tuesday morning.
According to Dominion Energy, the outage was affecting approximately 2,105 customers near Indian River Road as of 5:45 a.m. That number was down to fewer than 20 customers as of 6:40 a.m.
Officials say the tree fell on the power line, knocking the power out.
Crews are currently on scene working on restoration.
