Landstown and Oscar Smith secure their spot in the 6A Boys Regional Championship Game


NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The 6A Boys Semifinals took place at The Scope and it produced some interesting games.

The Landstown Eagles would take on Western Branch. The Eagles did not lack support as their fans showed up and showed out. 

Landstown would take complete control of this game in the second half and never look back.

They would defeat Western Branch 76-48. Micahel Christmas (JMU Commit)  would have a team-high with 23 points. 

Oscar Smith would play the Granby Comets. 

This game was expected to be the game of the night and it was for the Tigers. 

Briquan Harrell took a firm hold on this game early and had no intentions of letting go having a team-high of 17 points.

Oscar Smith defeated Granby 73 to 52. Now Oscar Smith will play Landstown on Monday at 8 pm at The Scope for the 6A Regional Boys Championship to see who will go to the State playoffs.
