Lake Taylor comes up short against Woodgrove in Class 4 title game

LYNCHBURG (WAVY) — Lake Taylor came up short in its Class 4 state championship game, losing to Woodgrove 38-33 at Liberty University in Lynchburg.

The Titans were in the game throughout but they were playing catch-up all afternoon.

Lake Taylor was called for several penalties late in the game that kept the Wolverines alive that led to touchdowns.

Woodgrove, out of Loudon County, ends its season with 11-2 record, Lake Taylor settles for a 13-2 record to end the 2018 season.
