Christopher Gallop had the reaction that just about anyone would have.
After winning $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery, Gallop could be found running around inside his Newport News home. He bought the winning ticket from a Love Food Mart off Warwick Blvd.
“It was a shock,” he said.
He selected his winning numbers using a combination of family birthdays. Gallop works as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Now he needs to sort out what he’s going to do with this newfound wealth. Gallop says intends to use his winnings to pay bills and take care of his family.
