Injured owl rescued in Williamsburg after breaking his wing

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Williamsburg-James City County Animal Control and a Williamsburg police officer responded Tuesday after a resident reported an injured owl.

Crews arrived on scene shortly after and located the owl, naming him Griffin. In a Facebook post, Williamsburg Police announced that Griffin was safely transported to Newport News to be treated for a broken wing.
