HAMPTON (WAVY) — Langley Speedway has groomed a lot of big name drivers in its day, and the next driver to take the next step could be someone that lives ten minutes away.
Connor Hall, the 2014 Langley Rookie of the Year, has dominated go-karts and has six Late Model wins under his belt.
Now he aims to make a splash in the K&N Series, where Kyle Larson, Joey Logano and Chase Elliott made names for themselves.
“The goal of mine is to race at the Cup level,” Hall said. “That’s a dream of mine, you have to be realistic at the same time. You’ve got to be that one in a million shot.”
Hall is a junior at Hampden-Sydney College. He plans to get his degree while pursuing his racing dreams.
“Hopefully one day someone notices it, like the people who support me now and continue to provide me with opportunities to keep moving up through the levels of NASCAR.”
