HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) — Citizens across Hampton Roads enjoyed the beautiful Easter Sunday with various celebrations across the area.

Over in Virginia Beach, hundreds of people came out for the Easter Spring Fling and Egg Hunt at the Hunt Club Farm.

In addition to an egg hunt, there were farm tour hayrides and a petting zoo-style exhibit for families. The Easter Bunny surprised children and posed for a few pictures.

People also visited churches during the day of celebration such as Restore Church in Portsmouth. The church held a special sunrise in addition to two later services, along with an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.
