NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — The case against a man charged in a November 2017 homicide is moving forward.
A grand jury indicted Michael Robert Paparelli late last week for charges of first-degree murder and use of a firearm in a felony for the death of Corey Hunter, court records show.
Newport News police said Hunter, 34 of York County, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died as medic tried to transport him to a local hospital.
