GLOUCESTER, Va. (WAVY) — A Gloucester man was found guilty in connection to the sexual abuse of a minor.
A jury found William Engquist guilty of aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties by a custodian on July 29.
The sheriff’s office didn’t release many details at the time of Engquist’s arrest back in November, but said the child was left in his care.
Monday, Engquist was sentenced to a life sentence with 147 years.
