GATES COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — Firefighters responded to a vacant home on fire early Saturday morning.
Officials say they responded to the fire in the 400 block of NC-37 at 1 a.m. Crews arrived on scene to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was marked under control a short time later. There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
