ACCOMACK, Va. (WAVY) – Talsey Volunteer Firefighters were busy Sunday morning when a home caught fire on Ravenswood Drive.

When they arrived on scene, they quickly realized the home would be hard to access due to a 2-mile long muddy driveway. This required the use of tractors and four wheelers in order to reach the home.

After working around hiccup, crews proceeded to locate the fire in the attic and extinguish flames using pots and pans of water. Assistance was needed from another unit in order to fully put the fire out.

Two hours later, crews cleared and the home was left with minimal damage.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
