NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A fire at General Dynamics Tuesday morning in Norfolk was contained by firefighters, officials say.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue said in a tweet the fire was confined to a dust collection system where the USS Mesa Verde was docked. The fire has been brought under control.
Smoke from the fire could be seen in viewer images and videos taken from Downtown Norfolk.

Officials said the Mesa Verde was not damaged in the fire.
