PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The Elizabeth River Crossings Board of Directors has named their name Chief Executive Officer.
Doug Wilson, the former Chief Executive Officer of the green energy company Broadrock Renewable will be taking over for Elizabeth River Crossings CEO Philip Shucet. Shucet stepped down after helping fix a variety of customer service problems associated with toll collections and late fees.
“ERC operates and maintains extremely valuable facilities that are crucial assets to this region,” said Wilson. “The opportunity to lead this exceptional organization of dedicated and talented professionals in the stewardship of these facilities is one that any leader would welcome.”
Wilson has experience in private equity-backed and public company settings, managing relationships with “a number of public sector counter-parties including state executives, legislatures, regulatory and permitting agencies, incentive management agencies, tax authorities, public utility commissions and local government bodies.”
