Elizabeth City wants your help in superintendent search


ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) – Elizabeth City is seeking your opinion on a new superintendent.

The Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Board of Education, partnered with the North Carolina School Boards Association, is seeking community input on the hiring process and the qualities and characteristics they want to see in the new Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public School’s (ECPPS) superintendent.    

ECPPS has an online survey available for the community that can be found on their website. Paper forms of this survey are available in the main offices of all ECPPS schools. The survey is available in both English and Spanish. They ask that this survey be filled out no later than January 14.

ECPPS will also be hosting three public forums to encourage public participation in the process. The dates and locations or these forums are listed below.

Multi-purpose room

ECPPS is also encouraging staff participation by offering a staff specific survey. That survey will be emailed to staff internally.
