Early-morning shooting in Va. Beach leaves man with life-threatening injuries

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man has life-threatening injuries after an early-morning shooting on Sunday, police say. 

Shortly after 4:07 a.m., Virginia Beach Police responded to a report of shots fired around 5800 Roxbury Place.  

Approximately 20 minutes later, police say they were notified about a man with a gunshot wound that was found at 600 Arvida Lane. 

Officers arrived to the scene and determined that the man’s injuries were life-threatening. He was transported to a local hospital.
