SALISBURY, Md. (WAVY) – A New Church woman who appeared in a Maryland court for DUI and driving on a suspended license is facing additional charges after a deputy witnessed her drive away from the courthouse.
According to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, the deputy, who was there for Tamia Brickhouse’s hearing, watched as she drove away, while still under a suspended driver’s license.
The deputy caught up with the vehicle and arrested Brickhouse on another charge of driving while suspended.
During the arrest, the sheriff’s office says Brickhouse became argumentative and tried to pull herself away from the deputy. She’s also been charged with resisting arrest.
