Drug dealer sentenced to 30 years in Fentanyl-related death

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A man was sentenced to three decades in prison for dealing drugs that caused a death.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said 50-year-old Arnold Burgess was a known drug dealer.     

In November 2016, a was man dead in his home as the result of an overdose. 

Burgess was later identified as the dealer who gave the man those drugs. 

Burgess will serve 30 years in prison.
