Driver, motorcyclist seriously injured in Va. Beach crash

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were seriously injured Wednesday evening in a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Virginia Beach.

Virginia Beach Police said in a news release a Harley Davidson traveling northbound on Upton Drive when it collided with a Dodge Dakota pickup making a left turn from southbound Upton onto to Nimmo Parkway.

The motorcyclist was ejected in the crash, police said. 

Officers were dispatched to the scene just before 4:15 p.m.

Police said the driver of the Dodge and the motorcyclist were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
