VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Drivers can expect temporary lane closures at one Virginia Beach intersection Friday as crews work to repair a damaged utility pole.
Virginia Beach officials said in a tweet the repair work is being done at Rosemont and Bonney roads, just before the Interstate 264 interchange. The work is expected to last throughout Friday.

A police spokesperson said a car crashed into a pole at that intersection Thursday night.
Officers were called to the scene just after 9 p.m.
It’s unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash. A viewer photo showed a white sedan that sustained heavy front end damage from the collision.
