CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A Chesapeake resident was displaced Tuesday morning after a large tree limb fell on their house.

Steve Bradley with the Chesapeake Fire Department said they received a call just before 10:30 a.m. An engine was sent to check out the house, which is Fresno Drive in the Great Bridge area of the city.

Bradley said there are some structural concerns with the house — which will be looked at by the building inspector. The man who was displaced is making his own lodging arrangements.
