NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Chesapeake man was caught with a loaded handgun Sunday at Norfolk International Airport, TSA officials say.

Officials said the man had a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun loaded with five bullets.

This is the 17th time a passenger has been caught with a handgun at Norfolk’s airport in 2018 — far exceeding the 10 that were caught in 2017.
