Bruce Rader inducted into inaugural class of Hampton Roads Sports Media Hall of Fame

HAMPTON (WAVY) – The Hampton Roads Sports Media Hall of Fame welcomed its inaugural class at Langley Speedway on Saturday night. 

Bruce Rader joined Carol Hudson, Jennifer Williams, Jim Ducibella and Mike Minium as the first ever inductees. 

Hudson was the Sports Information Director at Old Dominion University for more than 30 years. For 27 years, Ducibella covered sports in Hampton Roads as a writer for the Virginian Pilot. 

Williams covered both sports and news for the Daily Press for 25 years, and Minium was inducted posthumously. The brother of longtime Pilot writer Harry Minium, Mike wrote and was the sports editor at the Pilot before his death from cancer in 2001.
