CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — If you’re going to participate in the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation’s Bra-Ha-Ha design contest this year, you need to do so this weekend.
The deadline to register your bra design has been extended until Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 11:59 p.m. The competition is open to everyone, but each entry requires a $25 fee.
There are several guidelines for submitting a designed bra. It must be on a new, underwire bra sized 38C with a back closure. Strapless bras won’t be accepted and the entire bra must be decorated, including the sides and back. Click here for the full list of guidelines.
The idea behind the entire Bra-Ha-Ha event is to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. In addition to the bra design contest, there is the Bra-Ha-Ha 5K and One Mile Fun Run on Oct. 13 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, an Awards Show and Auction on Oct. 19 and a Women’s Health Expo on Oct. 20. Both of those events will be at at Tidewater Community College’s Chesapeake Student Center.
