All-clear given after bomb threat at Target in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – An all-clear was given after a bomb threat earlier Saturday.

According to police, an unknown man called the Target in the 1200 block of N. Military Highway at 12:05 p.m. and demanded money. The man said that a bomb and person were inside the store.

Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded and evacuated the store and conducted a search.  K9’s were called and conducted a sweep of the store but nothing was found.
There were no reported injuries. The store has since reopened.
