NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Five people have been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle thefts and larcenies from vehicles that have occurred the past few months in New Kent County.

The alleged crimes occurred between September and December. Authorities say the suspects stole several vehicles and other items — including firearms, electronics, and power tools — from other vehicles throughout the county.

With assistance from Henrico and Virginia State Police, the New Kent County Sheriff’s Office was able to identify and arrest five suspects on numerous charges, including grand larceny, petit larceny, vehicle tampering, credit card theft, trespassing, destruction of property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Four of the suspects — Hunter Waddell, 21, Jake Ragsdale, 27, Dillon Davis, 22, and Kaitlyn Holt, 25, all of Henrico County — are adults and the other is a male juvenile, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

Additional charges are pending. Anyone with information on this or any other crime is asked to contact this office at 804 966-9500 or Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at 804 780-1000.
