VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two adults and two children were displaced after a fire damaged a house in Virginia Beach.

Art Kohn, a spokesperson for the Virginia Beach Fire Department, said firefighters were called to a house fire in the 5600 block of Bull Run Court around 12:40 p.m. on March 12.

Kohn said crews were able to extinguish the flames, and no injuries were reported. A cat was removed from the house, but Kohn said he believes the cat is OK.

The four people displaced in the fire are being helped by the Red Cross, Kohn said.

It’s unclear what may have caused the fire.
