3 women from Hampton Roads arrested after narcotics found in Northern Va. traffic stop

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Three women from Hampton Roads were arrested over the weekend after police in Fairfax County say they found multiple drugs during a traffic stop related to a reported stolen car.

The traffic stop happened at 2:16 Saturday morning in the area where I-495 meets I-66. Police say they determined the license plate on the car was stolen, and found crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and edibles inside.

Police arrested Octavia Day, 34, of Chesapeake, Latricia James, 27, of Newport News, and Danielle Garner, 27, of Hampton. 

Day was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of stolen property, no registration, possession of schedule 1 narcotics and possession of marijuana. 

James was charged with possession of marijuana, and Garner was charged with possession of schedule 1 narcotics.
