2 wanted in connection to Magruder Blvd. shooting in Hampton

UPDATE: Hampton police have arrested Divine Rayquein Grayson. He’s been charged wtih one count of a possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and is in custody at the Hampton City Jail. 

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are searching for two men wanted in connection to a May 7 shooting near Magruder Boulevard and Floyd Thompson Boulevard in Hampton. 

Divine Raquan Grayson, 24, of 1600 block of Skiffes Creek Circle in Williamsburg and Lawrence William Habersham III, 20, of the 800 block of Marie Court in Newport News, are wanted in connection to the shooting and both have active warrants for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

Police say the shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. in the area of Magruder and Floyd Thompson. Police found the victim, a 24-year-old Williamsburg man, nearby in the 3000 block of Coliseum Drive suffering from gunshot wounds considered non life-threatening.
