2 teens charged after woman critically hurt in Hampton shooting

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Two 15-year-old males are facing charges in a shooting last week that left a Hampton woman seriously injured.

Hampton Police said in a news release one of the teens is charged with maiming, attempted carjacking, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony,  conspiracy to commit carjacking, concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a juvenile and grand larceny of firearm.

The other is charged with maiming, attempted carjacking, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit carjacking.

Officers responded to Terri Sue Court just before 12:45 a.m. on April 24 for a shooting, and found a 20-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said the woman is still hospitalized in critical condition.
