VB Indian Blvd motorcycle crash

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Two people are in the hospital after a motorcycle and minivan crashed in the Acredale section of the city Saturday morning.

Police responded to the crash at 7:47 a.m. at the intersection of Indian lakes Boulevard and Ferrell Parkway.

Police found that a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Indian Lakes Boulevard when it was hit by a minivan driving eastbound on Ferrell Parkway.

Both the driver and passenger on the motorcycle were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Yener Earolon, the driver of the minivan, has been charged with suspended operators license, no insurance and reckless driving. Further charges are pending.

Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this crash.

No further information has been released about the incident.
