2 people hurt after two-vehicle crash in Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were injured late Thursday morning after two vehicles collided in Newport News.

Police said the crash was reported around 11:45 a.m. at Prince Drew Road and Warwick Boulevard.  Responding officers found an SUV had turned over on its side after crashing with a sedan.

A man who was in the SUV and juvenile from the sedan were both taken to the hospital. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Police said the circumstances of the crash were still being investigated.
