Calling all of the art lovers and influencers in the 757…this is your opportunity to help celebrate one of the most eccentric areas of Norfolk! See the public art, musicians, comedians and performance artists bring the streets of the NEON district to life. There’s plenty of culinary art to enjoy as well, including signature fare from staples restaurants in the district. Don’t forget to head over to the Plot’s Beer Garden or Bearded Bird Brewing for a cold one.

This tail-wagging event benefits the Peninsula SPCA. You don’t want to miss the Dog Walk, a fun walk that winds along the beautiful downtown Hampton waterfront! In addition to the main event, there will be live music, food vendors, exhibitors and a costume contest for pets and humans. If you’re at least 21 years old, you can enjoy the Bow Wow Beer Garden featuring the best breweries in Hampton. There will also be samplings of Dog Star Vodka from Blue Sky Distillery.

If you love ponies, fair food and live music, you’ll love the 25th annual Driver Days Festival in Suffolk! The two-day celebration kicks off with a parade Saturday morning, followed by a slew of activities for the entire family. There’s a music festival featuring the Rhondels, a car show, a pet costume contest and a cornhole tournament, just to name a few.
