A Labor of Love: The Caregiver Portraits- Runs Until June 23

A Labor of Love: The Caregiver Portraits by Michael Geller is a photography exhibition that tells the stories of 21 people from Hampton Roads who have devoted themselves to caring for their loved ones. These inspiring photos the public what selflessness really means. 

When: Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday Noon – 5 p.m. 
Where: Chrysler Museum of Art 
Cost: Free Admission 

Women’s Ride 2019: Saturday, March 9

Glazed Doughnuts, in partnership with Village Bicycles, is hosting Women’s Ride 2019. Choose from a 5, 12 or 20 mile route options. Afterwards, you can grab a doughnut with your favorite lady dates. You do need to provide your own bike and helmets are recommended — per Hampton City Code if you’re under 14 years old, a helmet is mandatory.  

When: Registration at 8:30 a.m., Race begins at 9 a.m. 
Where:  Glazed Doughnuts, 24 Wine Street in Hampton
Cost: Free Admission

Breakin’ Backwards: Saturday, March 9

After you get in a workout from the bike ride, make your way to Suffolk to sit back, relax and watch Houston-based Soul Street Dance Company present “Breakin’ Backwards.” Soul Street performers bring technical and artistic skills, stage presence and wit to every show. Guest will not only see dancing, but acting, signing and acrobatics.  

When: 8 p.m. 
Where: The Suffolk Center 
Cost: $25
