Free Health and Cancer Screening

HR Show

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Early detection is the key to managing and treating chronic illnesses and many types of cancer, yet many people skip important screenings because they don’t have a primary care doctor or are worried about finances.

Today, Teleasha Reavis and Nyema King from Southeastern Virginia Health System tell us about a free screening event in the community and the assistance SEVHS can provide those who need help paying for treatments.
