‘The Golden Girls’ are looking for a new home

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Three older dogs known as “The Golden Girls,” are looking for a new home after their previous owner recently passed away, according to Ruff Road Pet Rescue.

Dorothy (10), Rose (12) and Blanche (8) are great with other dogs and cats, as well as older humans. But Ruff Road Pet Rescue says they’re not sure if the girls have interacted with kids.

All three are spayed and will be getting microchipped soon, Ruff Road Pet Rescue says.

“We know these sweethearts must be confused at their lives being turned upside down so suddenly; but at least they still have one another, and we intend to make sure it stays that way!” said Ruff Road Pet Rescue in a Facebook post.

Churchland K9 is fostering the trio until they can all be adopted, together.

If you’re interested, contact Ruff Road Pet Rescue on Facebook or call them at (757) 738-5878.
