VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation “shave to raise” event in Hampton Roads will take place on Saturday.
It’s happening at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Participants will be shaving their heads in an effort to raise money towards childhood cancer research grants.
This will be the 16th year this event has been put on in Hampton Roads and their goal for this year is $175,000.
If you don’t want to shave your head, you can still attend to cheer on those who brave the shave. You can even volunteer to help with the event.
