Ahhh it feels like spring outside! We started off on the cool side this morning with overnight lows in the mid 50s, but we’ll warm up nicely into this afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. High pressure is in place and that means great weather. Enjoy it while it lasts!
And it isn’t going to last long because the heat and humidity moves back in tomorrow. Don’t worry, it won’t be a mini heat wave like last week! But our high temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s. You’ll also notice a rise in the humidity. The other problem with the changing weather pattern is that we’ll start to see some showers and storms firing up across the region.
Right now, all of the models agree that the rain will be later in the day on Wednesday and through the overnight. Most models also agree that we’ll see scattered showers through the afternoon on Thursday and Friday. But they start to disagree as we head into weekend.
The GFS (American) Model is showing pretty much no rain for the weekend. It has rain surrounding the region, but keeping it out of our area. As much as I wish this would be the case, I’m a little skeptical. I do think there will be some rain just not a washout. The European Model shows a lot more rain both for Saturday and Sunday. I think it will be somewhere in between!
As the timing changes, we’ll continue to keep you updated!
