Nathan Epstein anchors the weekend Sportswrap on WAVY TV 10 and FOX43, and reports for the Sportswrap during the week.
Virginia-bred through and through, Nathan was born in Norfolk and attended high school in Richmond. He interned for WAVY TV in the Summer of 2010, then spent the first two years of his career as the lead sports anchor at WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he covered Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints, the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four, and Super Bowl XLVII between the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens.
A graduate of Longwood University, Nathan returned to cover his hometown in the Spring of 2013, and he has since earned several Associated Press Awards for his feature reporting, and has been nominated for a regional Emmy.
Nathan’s favorite sport to watch and to cover is college football. If he’s not running, you’ll almost certainly catch him on the golf course.
