UNITED STATES (WAVY) - Shimano American is recalling nearly 7,000 brakes made for road bikes.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the disc brake calipers can fail on brakes sold after February of last year.
No injuries have been reported, but the CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the bicycles with recalled brakes and contact an authorized Shimano dealer to receive a free installation and replacement of the calipers.
