NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - A cookout on the Peninsula Friday was held for a good cause.
Bosh Global Services hosted the third annual "Bar-B-Que Lunch For Wounded Warriors" in Newport News. Along with the hearty meal, there was live music.
The event is organized to help the servicemen and women who have given so much to this country.
"We're here to honor the wounded warriors. We do this once a year, this is our third annual event, and it's important for us and this community to have an opportunity to give back to those that have given so much in our defense and for us," said Bob Fitzgerald with Bosch Global Services.
The event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project and the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program.
