HATTERAS, N.C. (WAVY) - Ferry service to Hatteras Inlet has been suspended.
An official from the ferry service told WAVY.com that the ferry service was suspended due to conditions from Hurricane Sandy.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation says operations will return to normal as soon as conditions are deemed safe.
