VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach crews battled a fire in the Aragona section of the city Tuesday morning.
Amy Valdez with the Virginia Beach Fire Department said the fire sparked at a home in the 4700 block of Overman Avenue. Crews arrived on scene around 9:15 a.m.
Fire was showing from a corner of the structure, Valdez said. One homeowner and a dog were inside the home at the time of the fire and were alerted by a neighbor.
Valdez said the fire originated in the garage and a cause has not been released at this time, though it was accidental. No injuries were reported.
