CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Part of Cedar Road in Chesapeake is closed Thursday due to a broken valve.
The Hampton Roads Sanitation District closed part of the right turn lane on eastbound Cedar Road at Battlefield Boulevard to repair the valve.
According to Chesapeake Public Works, the closure is expected to last the rest of the day and could disrupt the evening commute. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and to expect delays.
